Vinyl Steakhouse is a concept born from the ideas of a man who possesses over 20 years in the Luxury Steak & Seafood dining industry who has a passion for music, food, wine, and art. The time has come to combine those passions into one incredible dining experience. Throughout his whole career, Kevin Flannery noticed that there was a crossroads of these elements lacking in the world of Steakhouse dining. Every upscale Steakhouse seemed to require a strict dress code policy with stuffy music yet every great bar or pub with a fantastic juke box or playlist offered substandard food and ordinary service. Finally, there comes a concept that combines it all where you can come as you are and be exactly who you want to be - this is Vinyl Steakhouse NYC! 

Our Owner and on-premise Operator – Kevin Flannery- was born into a hard-working blue collar family of six kids in Northeast Ohio- he had to work hard for everything in his life, there were no handouts. Kevin rose through the ranks from Dishwasher to now Owner of his own Manhattan Restaurant. Along the way, he picked up accolades such as Regional Director for Ocean Prime Brand, GM of Morton’s The Steakhouse, Certified Sommelier, and Certified Specialist of Wine & Spirits. Kevin has learned from some great mentors along the way and has set out to create a welcoming luxury steakhouse that is polished yet authentic in a glamorous setting in the Flatiron District of NYC.
