Nickenford Joseph

Nickenford Joseph was born and raised in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. He left his country and came here in 2010 after the earthquake. Growing up he had a passion for helping others, leading him to get his B.B.A in Health Services at Monroe College. Leaving his mom behind was beyond challenging, especially since he didn't know how to cook, go figure! He says one of the first dishes he learned was Legume, a dish he cherishes because of his mother and was determined to make it almost as good as she does.

To support his way through college he became a line cook at PF Changs in 2013 and worked his way up to Sous Chef in 5 years. Nick has also shared his passion with The Cheesecake Factory & Fogo De Chao. Although Nick was determined to make his way back into the medical field he soon realized that his passion for helping others was able to be fulfilled through cooking. Here he is 9 years later and hasn’t looked back since.
